WELSH TEXTILES

The name of the business was originally Ty Twt Textiles and was set up in 1999. I felt it would be unique and useful for Individual Customers, Tourists and Interior Designers to have the products of 6 Local Woollen Mills and the work of local Makers and Designers in one place.

The business then, was housed in a small architecturally interesting shop in Market Street, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The Country Living Guide to Rural Wales described the shop as " a showcase for an amazing collection of Welsh textiles". The building was originally a stable, when there used to be an animal market in Market Street, it then became a home for quite a long time. I bought it and it became a gallery for Welsh Textiles.

The collection's home is now here on this website, www.welshtextiles.com everything is sourced in Wales, some things will not be repeated because they are unique. I look forward to shipping and mailing the unique range of items contained within this website to you. Most items will be delivered within 14 days.
